Alan Wilks is a Liverpool-based comic artist. He also works as a night-shift security guard for a student accommodation. Different from people's usual expectations of a security guard, Alan completed college education in fine art. Throughout his artist career, he has produced a large number of comic illustrations and has written several sci-fi/ fantasy novels.

This video interview, as an important part of Zirong Emily Lyu's art project, is a response to Keith Haring Exhibition at Tate Liverpool, which tends to encourage more people to find their own artistic voice in the contemporary society.
Alan and Reversed Time is an experimental film produced by Zirong Emily Lyu (screenwriting, directing, editing), Thomas Williams (editing) and Umut Tugay Temel (audio editing).
